According to the ARTS Rail Transit Exhibition, CRRC plans to set up a train manufacturing plant in the inland city of Araraquara in the state of São Paulo. Rafael Benini, secretary of partnership and investment affairs of the state of São Paulo, said CRRC will lease part of the existing factory of South Korea's Hyundai Rotem for production activities. The initial investment amount is expected to be R$50 million.
CRRC has officially launched its recruitment campaign in Brazil, with plans to recruit employees for its first manufacturing plant in Brazil and its administrative office in São Paulo. The news was published on social platforms by Marcelo Henrique Gregório, HR Director of CRRC Brazil.
