Tianjin has operated 10 subway lines and 1 urban (suburban) railway, with a mileage of 325 kilometers, the formation of "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on the track" has been accelerated, the radiation capacity of Tianjin's rail transit network has been further enhanced, and the people's travel is more convenient and efficient.

The Jinjing Line of the Municipal (Suburban) Railway starts from Tuanbo Medical Park Station in the south, connects to Jinghua East Road Station of Metro Line 5 in the north, passes through the two administrative districts of Jinghai and Xiqing, and lays along Tuanbo Avenue and Ronghua Road, with a total length of about 13.4 kilometers, with 3 stations: Tuanbo Medical Park Station, Tuanbo Health City Station and Jingwu Station. The adjustment project of Metro Line 5 is an extension of the existing Metro Line 5, starting from Liqizhuang South Station and extending southwest to Jinghua East Road Station, with a total length of about 1.3 kilometers and one Jinghua East Road Station.

Passengers can transfer to Jinjing Line and Line 5 at Jinghua East Road Station, or take a 6-car train to Beichen Science and Technology Park North Station, the end point of Line 5, which is the first operation of the city's urban (suburban) railway and subway. It is the first time in the country that the urban (suburban) railway and the subway have been completed and opened simultaneously and have realized the operation of the same lineThis is the vivid practice of Tianjin Rail Transit Group's in-depth implementation of the national "four networks integration" policy, marking that the city's two systems of rail transit have entered a new era of "integrated development".

As a key popular project in the city, the Jinjing Line of the Municipal (Suburban) Railway and the Jinghua East Road Station of Metro Line 5 will be completed simultaneously, which will effectively connect the central urban area with the suburbs of Jinghai and Xiqing, and will greatly facilitate the commuting and medical treatment of the masses and the travel of teachers and students of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin Institute of Physical Education, and Tianjin Union Medical College Tianjin Base, drive the economic and social development of Tuanbo and Jinghai region, and provide a model for serving the major national strategy of coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
