During the three tests, the all-media reporters of Hubei Daily experienced the on-the-spot at 100 meters, 300 meters and 600 meters of the track. Except for the 100-meter start, where you can barely see the trajectory of the test car, only a black shadow can be seen at the 300-meter and 600-meter mark. Even if you shoot with a professional DSLR camera, you can only capture the afterimage of the test car.
Background data shows that the test vehicle accelerated from zero to 650 kilometers per hour in just 7.1 seconds, a maximum acceleration of more than 8 Gs in the process, which is almost the limit of overload that fighter pilots can tolerate.

Why does the test car run so fast? Li Weichao introduced that under the action of electromagnetic force, the test car and the track produce the "same pole repulsion" effect, there is no physical contact between the two, the test car is suspended on the track, the vehicle is not restricted by friction during the acceleration process, only needs to break through the air resistance.
"650 kilometers per hour is not the ultimate goal of the test line, its typical working condition is 800 kilometers per hour, and it is expected that all construction tasks will be completed by the end of this year, and the acceptance conditions will be met." Li Weichao said that the high-speed maglev test line has high-precision speed control and high acceleration capabilities, and will become an open, cooperative and shared test platform after completion, which can carry out dynamic model tests, speed calibration tests and anti-overload tests in open atmospheric environments.
