Dubai Golden Line Prequalification Announcement! Six international consortia participated

Dubai Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) on 6 issued a prequalification notice for the project.

The consortium formed to bid for the main contract is as follows:

1. Alstom / China Railway Engineering Corporation / National Projects Construction / Dogus Construction

Alstom: Alstom (France)

China Railway Engineering Corporation: China Railway Corporation Limited (China).

National Projects Construction: A national project construction company (local in the UAE).

Dogus Construction: Dowus Construction (Turkey).

2. CRRC / Limak / Mapa Group

CRRC: CRRC Corporation Limited (China).

Limak: Limark Holdings (Turkey)

Mapa Group: Mapa Group (Turkey).

3. Hitachi / China Harbour Engineering Company / China State Construction Engineering Corporation

Hitachi: Hitachi (Japan).

China Harbour Engineering Company: China Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. (China).

China State Construction Engineering Corporation: China State Construction Engineering Corporation (China).

The Gold Line will start at Al-Ghubaiba in Bur Dubai and finish at Jumeirah Golf Estates。 It will connect the existing Red and Green lines and integrate with the Etihad Rail passenger network.

This fully underground line will extend over 42 kilometers and include 18 stations. It will travel through 15 districts of Dubai, serving 1.5 million residents. The project is expected to connect more than 55 real estate developments under construction.

The Golden Line will increase the total length of Dubai's metro network by 35%. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2032.

The contractor will be responsible for all civil works, electromechanical equipment, vehicles, and the design and construction of railway systems. The selected contractor is also required to support system maintenance and operation for the first three years.
