On the morning of April 21, as the operators of the Fifth Bureau of China Railway completed the welding of the last pair of rail joints in Chenjiazhen Station on Chongming Island, Shanghai's first rail transit project across the Yangtze River, Shanghai Rail Transit Line 22 (Chongming Line) officially realized the full track connection, laying the foundation for the subsequent installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, system joint commissioning and commissioning of electric buses.

As a rail transit line connecting Shanghai's Chongming District and Shanghai's central urban area, Shanghai Rail Transit Line 22 has a total length of more than 42 kilometers and a total of 8 stations. After its completion in the future, Line 22 will be seamlessly connected with the Shanghai subway network, shortening the time and space distance between Chongming District and Shanghai City, further improving regional transportation convenience, and injecting new impetus into the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
Scientifically coordinate the construction organization and efficiently promote the track-laying operation
Combined with the actual situation of civil engineering handover, the track construction unit faced the construction difficulties of the ultra-long underground section of the cross-river section, reasonably planned the site site, and laid out the work surface at multiple points. By optimizing the construction process and adjusting the sequence of process connection, the whole process assembly line operation mode of channel bed base pouring, track slab laying, self-compacting concrete pouring, and rail fastener installation was created. The construction capacity has been greatly improved, and the maximum comprehensive track laying progress of a single working surface has reached 135 meters/day, effectively improving construction efficiency and firmly controlling the project construction nodes.

Innovate the application of tooling technology and strictly control the quality of engineering entities
Based on the actual needs of line construction, a number of self-developed tooling and special construction processes have been implemented. Self-made special tooling for expansion joints of the base of prefabricated track slabs to ensure that the expansion joints are straight and regular, and strengthen the quality of construction and forming; Research and develop punching-free installation tooling for the central ditch formwork of the base to eliminate the problem of punching damage to tunnel segments and protect the safety of the main structure; The central ditch adopts standardized construction of shaped steel molds to achieve the standard of no water accumulation in the ditch.

Strengthen precision detection and control to improve the quality of rail operation
Introduce professional testing equipment and refined control system, use 0-level track detector to build a TQI track smoothness index control system, and accurately guide the fine-tuning construction of the track. Effectively improve the smoothness of the line, reduce the problem of whistling and driving noise in the later operation track from the source, and comprehensively improve the travel comfort of passengers.

Promote intelligent construction equipment to help long-term operation and maintenance
The innovative use of track marking robots to complete the labeling operation of rail lines, the logo style is uniform and regular, strong weather resistance, and the retention period is long, which not only improves the level of on-site standardized construction, but also provides a reliable basic guarantee for subsequent line inspection, maintenance and maintenance, and operation management.
In the future, all participating units of Line 22 will continue to strengthen safety and quality management, improve the efficiency of construction organization, continue to do a good job in key tasks such as line fine-tuning, station decoration, and system commissioning, ensure that all node tasks are completed on schedule, and strive to complete the line by the end of the year to create high-quality high-quality rail transit projects.
