Academician Pan Fusheng and his delegation visited the Tianjin Rail Transit History Showroom and the Dispatching Command Center Hall to fully understand the magnificent journey from the construction of combat readiness channels to the leap of smart subway since the start of the Tianjin Rail Transit 7047 project, and highly affirmed the Group's achievements in serving urban development, technological innovation and transformation, and industrial layout transformation.

Wu Bingjun warmly welcomed the visit of Academician Pan Fusheng and his delegation, and systematically expounded the group's overall idea of encouraging technological innovation and exploring transformation and development in the fields of resource recycling. He pointed out that at present, China's urban rail transit is facing the dual challenges of energy consumption and cost, and the industry has an urgent need to improve quality and efficiency. Tianjin Rail Transit Group will actively play the role of "chain master", fully open up the rail transit scene, and cooperate with the academician team and industry partners to boldly try and strictly verify in the design and production stage of rail equipment, explore the substitution of new materials such as magnesium alloy, reduce the use of raw materials, practice the "4R" reduction concept of resource circulation, and help the green transformation and development of the industry and promote the landing of related industries in Tianjin.
Academician Pan Fusheng expressed his gratitude to Tianjin Rail Transit Group for its warm reception and introduced the research progress of Chongqing University in the application of magnesium alloy materials in rail transit. He pointed out that lightweight materials are the key support for the energy transformation of the rail transit industry. Magnesium alloys have significant advantages over traditional metal materials, and the country and even the international community have paid great attention to them. The Chongqing University team has mature technical reserves in magnesium alloy research and development, and can provide comprehensive technical support and guarantee for cooperation projects from material optimization, processing and production to application implementation. This cooperation is a good opportunity to apply magnesium alloy to rail transit equipment, which will bring revolutionary changes to vehicle weight reduction, energy conservation and improved operational efficiency.
