According to reports, the project uses artificial intelligence algorithms to comprehensively analyze multi-source sensor data, including vibration, noise, etc., to realize the early identification of equipment abnormalities and fault signs, so as to detect potential risks early, effectively reduce the possibility of accidents during the use of escalators, and promote the transformation of safety management from passive response to active prevention.

Incheon Transportation Company said that as early as December last year, the company had signed performance sharing agreements with a number of participating companies and officially launched joint technology research and development. At present, the actual operating environment is being used as a test scenario for the platform's operating system, and participating companies are responsible for developing AI-based diagnostic core technologies to ensure the reliability and practicality of the platform under real working conditions.

In addition, the platform will integrate technical suggestions and on-site operation feedback from the Korea Elevator Safety Corporation to continuously optimize system functions and improve overall integrity and adaptability. The company revealed that the project will adopt a phased implementation strategy in the future, gradually expand the scope of application, and promote the application of related technologies in more scenarios.
