The sub-center of the national urban rail science and technology innovation platform was settled in

On November 6, the Wuxi Branch of the National Engineering Research Center for Digital Construction and Evaluation Technology of Urban Rail Transit was successfully held in Beijing.

At the evaluation meeting, Wuxi Metro Group systematically reported on the construction background, target positioning, R&D direction, and organizational structure of the sub-center in accordance with the "Management Measures for the Sub-center of the National Engineering Research Center of Urban Rail Transit Innovation Network". The sub-center will focus on the digital intelligence, greening, and integrated technological innovation of urban rail, carry out research and development of core technologies such as smart operation, intelligent operation and maintenance, vibration reduction and noise reduction, and create an influential rail transit technology innovation platform in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The expert group spoke highly of the preparatory work and pointed out that the establishment of the Wuxi branch center is of great significance to improving the scientific research layout of urban rail in the Yangtze River Delta region. Zhong Jianhua, vice president of the Urban Rail Association and director of the Innovation Network Management Committee, emphasized in his summary that the sub-center should be based on the positioning of medium-sized cities, focus on the direction of characteristic research and development, and cooperate with the main center to build an innovation highland to promote the technological progress and achievement transformation of the industry.

The successful holding of this evaluation meeting marks that the Wuxi branch center has officially entered the construction stage.
