The first "double transfer order" train of Tianjin Metro Line 9 was put into operation

Recently, the first dual-system transfer system transformation train of Metro Line 9 was officially put into operation, marking the final stage of the train signaling system transformation project of Line 9.

In the early signaling system commissioning stage, Tianjin Rail Transit Operation Group debugged 8 trains equipped with new and old dual systems, undertaking the dual mission of operation and commissioning: normal operation on the line during the day to ensure the normal travel needs of citizens; After the night operation, these trains are turned into "special test carriers" for signaling system debugging, providing core data support for the stability verification of the new system. In December last year, the old and new signal systems of Line 9 were successfully switched. Subsequently, the operating group continued to promote the follow-up transformation work and efficiently completed the system upgrade of the remaining 20 trains to ensure that the transformation rhythm was accurately matched with the operational needs. At present, the 8 dual-system trains that undertook the commissioning task in the early stage have also been gradually debugged into a single new signaling system, and the first "double-transfer single" transformation car is put into operation, which means that the signaling system transformation project of Line 9 has come to an end.

Switching from dual systems to single systems is not just a software update, but also involves a lot of hardware disassembly and reinstallation, and there are challenges in every link. In the project preparation stage, the technical team sorted out the differences between the dual and single systems in advance, formulated detailed plans, and identified a total of 25 potential hidden dangers. During the transformation process, the technical team tracks and verifies the whole process of key processes to ensure that every step of construction meets technical standards. It is expected that by the end of the year, all trains on Line 9 will be renovated to further help the development of the Tianjin-Binzhou twin cities.
