Rail Transit Exhibition News On August 22, the "China Railway No. 1553" earth pressure balancing shield machine developed by China Railway Equipment successfully rolled off the production line through acceptance, and the equipment will be applied to the Dubai Metro Blue Line project.

The Dibay Metro Blue Line is a significant expansion of Dubai's rail network, with a total length of 30 kilometers, including a tunnel length of about 14 kilometers. China Railway Equipment exported a total of three shield machines with an excavation diameter of 9.61 meters, which are responsible for the three tunneling sections in the project. It is worth mentioning that in addition to the core shield machine, China Railway Equipment also provides a series of "shield ecosystem" products including tunnel belt conveyors, MSVs, segment molds, ground refrigeration, etc., which fully demonstrates the comprehensive ability of China Railway Equipment to provide full life cycle services and overall solutions in the field of tunnel boring.

It is reported that the Dubai Metro Blue Line project, as the core infrastructure project of Dubai's 2040 urban master plan, will connect Dubai International Airport with nine core functional areas and directly serve the travel of more than one million residents. This fully automated unmanned line, which adopts the world's highest automation level (GoA4 level), will be seamlessly connected with the existing red and green lines after completion, building a rail transit network covering the whole city, and significantly improving the commuting efficiency and intelligence level of Dubai as an international city.
