On July 27, the reporter learned from China Construction Bridge Co., Ltd. that on July 26, local time, with the successful completion of the structure pouring of the control center and the comprehensive maintenance building, the main structure of the Kazakhstan Astana light rail depot project undertaken by China Construction Bridge, a central enterprise in Chongqing, was fully completed, marking a new stage in the construction of the project. It has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent secondary structure construction, decoration and equipment installation.

The Astana Light Rail Depot Project is located on the north side of Astana International Airport, covering an area of about 16.2 hectares, which is an important part of the Astana Light Rail project, undertaking core functions such as train parking, overhaul, maintenance and operation management.
Since the start of construction, the China State Construction Bridge project team has overcome the challenges of high groundwater level, large structural volume and high material support pressure in the construction area, scientifically organized and finely constructed, and successfully achieved the completion node goal of all main structures.
It is reported that the Astana Light Rail is the first urban light rail line in Central Asia, and it is also the first urban rail transit project to fully adopt Chinese standards and Chinese equipment. With a total length of about 22.4 kilometers, the line connects Astana International Airport, the Presidential Palace, the National Museum, the World Expo Park and other urban core areas, and is a landmark project of the "Belt and Road" jointly built by China and Kazakhstan. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, the commuting efficiency along the line will be greatly improved, and it will become a representative urban rail transit project in Kazakhstan and even Central Asia.
