As the video sparked discussions, the Hanoi Metro Company said on the 20th that the authorities had found out that due to a technical failure in the air-conditioning control system, which hindered the drainage process, the stagnant water seeped into the passenger compartment, and the train involved was also sent to the Phu Laong Locomotive Depot for comprehensive inspection and maintenance.
According to the report, the metro company also convened technical experts to deal with the problem with the maintenance team and inspect the air-conditioning system of all trains.
