The unveiling ceremony marks that the cooperation between China and Malaysia in the field of vocational education and industrial integration has entered a new stage relying on major projects such as the East Malaysia Railway Project, and will surely promote the deepening of the implementation of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the concept of "China-Malaysia community with a shared future". In the future, the alliance will fully integrate the high-quality resources of China and Malaysia, build a platform for exchange and cooperation, promote the integration of industry and education and resource sharing, cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the regional economy.

The project attaches great importance to the cultivation of local railway talents, and is committed to introducing China's advanced railway construction technology and operation and maintenance experience to Malaysia. Through the implementation of the "China-Malaysia Railway Talent Training Program (PLKI)", more than 1,500 local talents have been trained. In 2024, the first batch of 37 Malaysian co-driver trainees and 51 local teachers were selected to be sent to Liuzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College in Guangxi, China for training, promoting the deepening of China-Malaysia railway technical and vocational education cooperation.
