The three-party contract was signed between Shentong Metro Vehicle Division, CRRC Puzhen, and Alstom

On March 28, Mr. Jean-Noël BARROT, the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, visited Shanghai and attended the Sino-French Business Forum titled "Prospects for Business in 2025," organized by the China France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFC). 

The forum focused on innovation and investment, attracting leaders from over a hundred Chinese and French companies. During the forum, the French Minister witnessed the signing ceremony of the contract for the Shanghai Metro Line 21 between Alstom, Shanghai Shentong Metro Construction Group Co., Ltd., and CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. Mr. Zhou Jiong, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Shentong Metro Group's Vehicle Division, Ms. Wu Jiexing, Project Director of CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhao Lianjie, Chairman of Alstom Shanghai Transport Electrical Co., Ltd., signed the tripartite contract. The French Minister, Mr. Zhang Yu, Vice President of Shanghai Shentong Metro Group, Mr. Song Xuesong, Deputy General Manager of CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., and Mr. Geng Ming, President of Alstom China, witnessed this significant moment together. The French official delegation accompanying the Minister included Mr. 

Bertrand LORTHOLARY, French Ambassador to China, Mr. Joan VALADOU, French Consul General in Shanghai, Mr. Patrick MARTIN, President of the French Employers' Association (MEDEF), Mr. Benoit GUIDEE, Director of the Asia-Pacific Department of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Christian GIANELLA, Minister-Counselor for Economic Affairs at the French Embassy in China. Ms. Ye Liang, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office, also attended the event.
