On March 21, the commencement ceremony of the Ho Man Tin Automated Wheelset Maintenance Center project undertaken by Railway Construction (Hong Kong) Company was held, and the Hong Kong Railway Corporation Limited (MTR) Co., Ltd. Director of Train Operations and Innovation Li Jiarun, Chief Manager of Train Engineering Maintenance Li Jianxiong, Chief Manager of Train Engineering Services and Innovation and Technology Chen Qingqiang, and relevant personnel of Railway Construction International attended the ceremony.
As one of the core projects of Hong Kong's railway infrastructure upgrade, the Ho Man Tin Integrated Wheelset Maintenance Centre is an important technological innovation project of the MTR Corporation, and is located on the Ho Man Tin Parking Line of the Hong Kong MTR as one of the core projects of Hong Kong Railway Infrastructure Upgrade. The project adopts the design concept of "high automation, integration and intelligence", and uses a large number of high-tech equipment such as manipulators, automatic guided vehicles, magnetic particles and UT non-destructive testing, aiming to comprehensively improve the efficiency and quality of MTR train wheelset maintenance and ensure the safety and reliability of subway operation. After the completion of the maintenance center, it will undertake the centralized maintenance task of MTR's entire network train wheelsets, realize the full-link tracking of the maintenance process through the intelligent management system, and eventually build a landmark world-class automated maintenance factory, significantly reducing operation and maintenance costs and providing safer and more reliable travel services for Hong Kong citizens.
Wheelset manipulator factory joint debugging and joint test This project is another important intelligent benchmark project after the cooperation between CRCC International and MTR on scientific and technological innovation and application such as catenary comprehensive inspection and comprehensive renovation of ductile iron tunnels. After winning the bid, the project team of the Hong Kong company gave full play to the brand advantages of China Railway Construction, integrated the resources of the mainland and Hong Kong to actively promote the implementation of the project, and successfully completed the joint commissioning and joint test of the wheelset maintenance equipment, production management system and safety interlocking system, marking the official entry of the maintenance center into the on-site installation and commissioning stage.
