Among them, Shanghai Metro Maintenance Company plans to implement 176 overhaul and renovation projects in 2025, with a planned investment of 5.516 billion yuan. Focus on completing the overhaul of 197 vehicle frames (1,266 sections), completing the cutover of the signal system of Line 3/4, replacing 114 kilometers of tracks, replacing 782 clue anchor sections of catenary, and completing the renovation of 52 toilets and 16 entrances and exits.

It is reported that Shanghai Metro Maintenance and Guarantee Co., Ltd. was established in 2013 and is a professional maintenance and guarantee unit of rail transit facilities and equipment under Shanghai Shentong Metro Group Co., Ltd. It is mainly responsible for the maintenance and support of professional facilities and equipment such as Shanghai rail transit vehicles, power supply, catenical network, communication, signal, bridge and tunnel, line, structure, as well as material procurement and logistics support.
