Tianjin Metro braking system maintenance line was put into use

According to the Tianjin Rail Transit Operation Group, recently, Knorr-Bremse's "tread brake unit (brake cylinder)" which was independently overhauled by the braking system maintenance line for the first time by Tianjin Railway Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the operation group, successfully passed the first inspection. This marks a new breakthrough in the independent maintenance ability of key vehicle equipment of Jintie Technology Company. At the same time, with the official use of the brake system maintenance line, the brake system maintenance cycle will be greatly shortened and the maintenance efficiency will be improved.

In 2024, Jintie Technology Co., Ltd. will actively deploy and select 13 technical backbones to go to Knorr-Bremse to carry out systematic training for one month. The theoretical knowledge and practical ability of all the participating employees have been improved, and they have successfully obtained the qualification of independent maintenance of Knorr-Bremse braking systems, which has laid a solid technical foundation for the subsequent independent maintenance work.

The successful completion of the first inspection has injected strong impetus into the in-depth maintenance at the component level. Relying on the completed maintenance lines for braking systems, motors and couplers, Jintie Technology Co., Ltd. further optimizes the maintenance process, continuously improves the quality and efficiency of maintenance, and makes every effort to cultivate new production capacity. Subsequently, Tianjin Railway Technology Co., Ltd. will further optimize the axle maintenance line, enable the maintenance information system and material logistics information system, and strive to build a "smart factory" to help the high-quality development of Tianjin's rail transit industry.
