Chongqing Rail Group won the "first order" of straddle monorail operation and maintenance service

Recently, Chongqing Rail Group successfully won the bid for the partial entrusted operation and maintenance project of the monorail rapid transit system of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, which means that Chongqing Rail Group has made important progress in the output and service field of straddle monorail operation and maintenance technology (referred to as "monorail operation and maintenance technology").

Relying on Chongqing's well-established monorail industry chain, the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport Monorail Rapid Transit System (hereinafter referred to as the "Airport MRT Line") adopts a new girder-bridge system and turnout design, and integrates advanced technologies such as fully automatic unmanned driving, flexible marshalling and intelligent operation and maintenance, creating a new application scenario for the straddle monorail system. Once completed and put into operation, the Airport MRT Line will be responsible for the transportation of passengers and staff between T3A and T3B terminals.

With 20 years of rich experience in monorail operation and maintenance, Chongqing Rail Group has won the bid for part of the operation and maintenance service projects of the airport MRT line, including the driving scheduling, crew organization, passenger transport organization, platform door system, depot system (including depot equipment), monorail turnout system, monorail line system (including tunnel specialty), power supply (including comprehensive monitoring) system and other work contents of the MRT line.

Since the opening of Line 2, the country's first straddle monorail line in 2005, Chongqing Rail Group has continued to carry out technical research, and through introduction, digestion, absorption and innovation, the monorail technology has achieved independence and localization. In addition, Chongqing Rail Group has also cultivated a group of outstanding monorail technical talents, built a stable talent echelon, continuously overcome technical problems, formulated a number of straddle monorail industry standards, and led the establishment of the world's first national monorail technical standard system.
