2025 Overseas First Contract! China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation Wins Algeria Metro Pr

Recently, China Railway Signal & Communication Corporation (CRSC) consortium successfully won the bid for the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project of the AIN NAADJA - BARAKI section of the Algiers Metro Line 1 Extension Project in Algeria, marking a new breakthrough in expanding the overseas market.

The project spans a length of approximately 6.1 kilometers and includes 4 stations and their connecting sections. Upon completion, it will be interconnected with the existing Algiers Metro Line 1. As a vital public infrastructure project in the capital city of Algiers, it will significantly improve local transportation convenience and serve the public. The scope of the project includes track (including third rail), electromechanical systems, high-voltage electrical systems, communication systems, and decoration works. CRSC, as the leading member of the consortium, will be responsible for the design and supply of electromechanical systems, high-voltage electrical systems, and communication systems, as well as the construction and installation. INFRARAIL, a local company, is the consortium member responsible for the supply and installation of the decoration and track (third rail) systems.

This project marks CRSC's first contract in Algeria and its first EPC contract in the overseas urban rail transit electromechanical field. CRSC will take this opportunity to continue deepening its presence in Algeria's rail transit market, enhance its overseas operation capabilities, and achieve greater breakthroughs in international performance.
