According to the Rail Transit Exhibition, the Argentine State Passenger Transport Company signed a contract supplement agreement worth $130 million with CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd. to provide spare parts for the regular maintenance of electric units on the Buenos Aires Roca Line, Salmierto Line and Mitre Line.
According to the agreement, spare parts will be delivered in four batches, starting in the second half of this year. The scope of delivery includes bogies, couplers and components for the traction, braking and suspension systems, as well as components for the cab and passenger cabin. In addition, CRRC Sifang will also provide workshop equipment and maintenance tools.According to the agreement, CRRC Sifang will also modify the electric units according to local operating conditions to improve operational efficiency, extend the service life of trains, reduce operating costs and improve reliability.
