Liu Wei, male, Han nationality, born in June 1965, member of the Communist Party of China, doctor of economics.

Since October 2008, he has successively served as the deputy director and member of the leading party group of the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the executive deputy director (bureau level) of the Office of the Leading Group for the Construction of the Provincial Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone (Central Plains Economic Zone and Zhengbian New District), the director and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the director of the Office of the Leading Group for the Construction of the Provincial Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone (Central Plains Economic Zone and Zhengbian New District).

In January 2018, he was appointed as Vice Governor of Henan Provincial People's Government.

In March 2018, he was appointed as Vice Governor of Henan Provincial People's Government and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

In January 2020, he was appointed as Vice Minister of Emergency Management and a member of the Party Leadership Group.

He is a member of the 20th Central Committee, a deputy to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress.
