The life extension or renewal of electric passenger trains that have reached the end of their design service life and cannot continue to serve shall be adopted as appropriate. Upgrade the train control system to improve the operating efficiency and ride comfort of the train, with an average of about 12 cars per year. Combined with the requirements of barrier-free construction and adaptation to the elderly, some old elevators are overhauled and renovated, and escalators and barrier-free elevators are installed at the entrances and exits of some stations where conditions permit, so as to improve the traffic efficiency and barrier-free service level of the station, with an average of about 15 new elevators per year. Promote the renewal and technical upgrading of platform doors in subway stations, improve the reliability and stability of platform doors, solve problems such as the inability to link platform doors and signal systems in some stations, and frequent failures, so as to ensure operational safety, with an average annual update of about 300 units. Strengthen the supervision of internal environmental quality, promote the transformation of energy-saving lighting and intelligent air-conditioning systems, ensure air circulation and appropriate illumination in the station, and provide a comfortable waiting environment for the public.

·Promote remanufacturing and cascade utilization in an orderly manner. Support key equipment manufacturing enterprises to vigorously carry out remanufacturing of traditional industries such as auto parts, coal machinery equipment, rail transit, construction machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment, and machine tools, and cultivate new kinetic energy for remanufacturing industries in emerging fields such as shield machines, aero engines, industrial robots, and power batteries.

·Support the renewal and transformation of existing rail transit line vehicles, signals, communications, power supply, station equipment, lines and tracks, and accelerate the update and iteration of intelligent software and hardware such as intelligent manufacturing, inspection and testing, and intelligent operation and maintenance.

·Promote the renewal of rail transit equipment. Support the renovation of 15 types of equipment such as subway vehicles, tracks, and signals on the first and second phases of the subway, as well as 7 types of equipment such as monitoring systems and environmental control systems in the first and second phases of comprehensive transportation hubs. By 2025, the renovation of the signal system of Line 3 will be completed.

·Promote the renewal and transformation of urban rail transit equipment. Combined with the actual operation of rail transit, we will promote the renewal and upgrading of subway and tram equipment, and implement projects such as the renewal and transformation of the signal system data communication (DCS) subsystem of Metro Line 2, the southern extension of Metro Line 1 and the third phase and the video surveillance subsystem equipment of the communication system of Metro Line 2, so as to improve the operation and safety performance of urban rail transit equipment. By 2027, 4 renovation projects and 40 major and medium repair projects will be completed.

· Carry out the renewal and transformation of subway rail trains. Encourage urban subways and suburban railways to improve the frequency of lines in combination with the actual passenger flow of the line, accelerate the transformation of trains and other facilities, and enhance the travel experience of passengers. By 2027, we will continue to promote the renewal and transformation of some equipment in the communication, signal, and power supply systems, and continue to carry out the renewal of batteries for some professional equipment such as line communication, signaling, power supply, platform doors, and comprehensive monitoring. About 300 tram racks and overhauls were carried out.
