On the morning of August 1, the country's first Yibin hydrogen energy smart rail train invested and constructed by Shudao New Standard Rail Group was officially put into operation in Yibin Smart Rail T1, which marked that Yibin Smart Rail officially entered the era of hydrogen energy, and also demonstrated the leading position of Yibin Smart Rail in hydrogen energy application and smart rail tram technology.

The first hydrogen energy smart tram in China is manufactured and produced by Sichuan CRRC Tietou Rail Transit Co., Ltd., realizing the "Made in Yibin" and "Used in Yibin" of hydrogen energy applications. Compared with the smart rail tram that has been put into operation in the Yibin smart rail project, it has a number of significant advantages, one is higher operational efficiency, and the innovative use of 35MPa hydrogen storage system and high-power fuel cell system has the characteristics of high energy conversion efficiency and fast hydrogen refueling speed, which can greatly improve the operation efficiency of the vehicle. Second, the cruising range is longer, and it can travel more than 200 kilometers at a time of hydrogen refueling, which can meet the long-distance operation needs of urban public transportation. Third, it is more green and environmentally friendly, with zero emissions and no pollution in the process of driving, which truly realizes green travel, which is of great significance for improving urban air quality and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Fourth, it is safer and more comfortable, the vehicle is equipped with multiple safety protection systems, from battery management to the overall structural design of the vehicle, which has been rigorously tested and verified to ensure the safety of passengers and pedestrians.
