Belozerov said earlier that the Russian high-speed train under development will reach a maximum speed of 400 kilometers per hour. The whole train consists of 8 carriages, and the high-speed rail ticket is divided into four levels. Assembly of the first prototype is scheduled to begin in 2026, be completed in 2027, and obtain a certificate of conformity in 2028.

Thanks to the opening of the high-speed railway, the travel time between Moscow and St. Petersburg will be reduced to 2 hours and 15 minutes. Russian Railways expects that all high-speed rail construction plans in Russia will be implemented within 5-10 years.
