Hefei Rail Line 8 started no-load trial operation yesterday

On the morning of September 1, the first phase of Hefei Rail Line 8 officially launched the no-load trial operation, taking another solid step towards the initial operation task goal of opening at the end of the year.

The first phase of Line 8 is 22.5 kilometers long, all of which are underground lines, with a total of 12 stations, and interchange with the existing Line 3 Yilijing Station. After the completion of the first phase of Line 8, the north-south fast corridor of the city will be formed, and the interconnection between the north city and the urban area of Changfeng County will add an underground fast "big channel", which will greatly improve the travel efficiency of citizens.

The no-load trial operation, that is, the simulated operation without passengers, is the last important commissioning stage before the initial operation of the first phase of Line 8, which is equivalent to a "comprehensive examination". During the no-load trial operation, the availability, safety and reliability of the five core specialties of vehicles, signals, integrated monitoring, communication and platform doors, as well as other related facilities and equipment systems are comprehensively inspected, so that the train and various equipment systems can be fully run-in and the functional stability will be improved; At the same time, this is also an important stage to exercise and improve the comprehensive ability of operation staff, improve the ability of operation organization, and make full preparations for the safe operation of the line. According to the relevant national regulations, the trial operation time shall not be less than 3 months.

As the first fully automatic subway in Anhui Province, the first phase of Line 8 can automatically realize the functions of automatic wake-up, hibernation, start, acceleration, braking, parking, door opening and closing of the train under the unified control of the control center, so it puts forward higher requirements for the reliability, availability and maintainability of the system.

In order to ensure the smooth development of the no-load test run, Hefei Rail has made sufficient preparations in the early stage of the comprehensive joint commissioning scenario test. The first phase of Line 8 optimizes and sets up 48 fully automatic operation system scenarios according to the operation system scenarios and combined with the fully automatic professional design scheme, including 22 normal scenarios, 10 fault scenarios and 16 emergency scenarios. The five core specialties of vehicle, signal, integrated monitoring, communication and platform door have designed a wealth of unmanned control linkage functions around 48 fully automatic scenarios and nearly 1,000 test cases.

In addition to the need to complete the traditional line commissioning project within the specified time, the first phase of Line 8 also needs to conduct comprehensive tests on the new fully automatic related functions such as train sleep and wake-up tests, automatic switching station tests, and remote emergency braking tests, and repeatedly verify the stability of the system. On the basis of comprehensive joint commissioning, the no-load test run will conduct a comprehensive test of the performance of the equipment through several months to ensure the safety of the official operation and provide passengers with an efficient and comfortable travel experience.
