All service centers at Shanghai Metro stations can accept wild cards to purchase tickets

According to Shentong Metro Group, in order to create a good business environment and promote foreign card payment services in the field of rail transit, Shanghai Metro has supported domestic and foreign bank cards on the basis of the original maglev line and 4 airport stations on a pilot basis, and from April 15, 2024, all subway station service centers in the whole network will add POS machine equipment to accept domestic/foreign card purchase of subway tickets through manual services. 1. Acceptance points: all station service centers in the whole network;

2. Accepted tickets: one-way ticket, one-day subway ticket, three-day subway ticket, and some stations can sell subway maglev one-way ticket and subway maglev two-way ticket;

3. Channels for accepting bank cards:

a) 外卡：维萨（VISA）、万事达（Master Card）、发现卡（Discover Card）、美国运通（AE）、大来（Diners Club）、吉士美（JCB）。

b) Inner card: China UnionPay.

In order to facilitate the passage of the subway for overseas people coming to Shanghai, the Shanghai Metro "Metro" App uses passports, Hong Kong and Macao passes, Taiwan Compatriot Permits, etc. to register for these specific users.

外卡绑定App支付方面，如已在支付宝、微信、云闪付端绑定外卡，则可直接在“Metro大都会”使用该渠道实现乘车功能。其中，支付宝、微信支付支持绑定5类外卡：维萨（VISA）、万事达（Master Card）、发现卡（Discover Card）、大来（Diners Club）、吉士美（JCB）；云闪付支持绑定4类外卡：维萨（VISA）、万事达（Master Card）、大来（Diners Club）、吉士美（JCB）。

如境外来沪人员持有万事达卡（Master Card）或大来卡（Diners Club）这两种外卡，可直接在“Metro大都会”App微信支付渠道中的“国际卡”中，选择其一开通支付渠道，实现乘车功能。
