On March 29, the third council and the fourth standing council meeting of the third session of China Urban Rail Transit Association were held in Beijing. At the meeting, the China Urban Rail Transit Association announced the winning projects of the 2023 Urban Rail Transit Science and Technology Progress Award. The project of "Independent Innovation and Application of Key Technologies of Intelligent Ventilation and Air Conditioning System for Maglev Direct Expansion Metro Stations" declared by the Municipal Rail Transit Group stood out from more than 180 declared projects and won the first prize of 2023 Urban Rail Transit Science and Technology Progress Award.

The project of "Independent Innovation and Application of Key Technologies of Intelligent Ventilation and Air Conditioning System for Maglev Direct Expansion Metro Station" was completed by the Municipal Rail Transit Group in conjunction with Tsinghua University, China Railway Fourth Hospital, Zhuhai Gree and many other units. Relying on the construction and operation of Luoyang Metro Line 1 and 2, the project aims to achieve an annual energy consumption of less than 350,000 kWh of electricity for ventilation and air conditioning in standard stations, and has completed high-quality scheme demonstration, key equipment research and development, control system development, pilot verification and large-scale application in 6 years, breaking through the key links of innovation-driven leadership.

"This technical solution reflects the Group's strong determination to promote the green and low-carbon development of public transport.
