According to the news of the rail transit exhibition, some netizens recently asked when the Dujiangyan tram will be opened on the Sichuan platform.

On March 11, the Dujiangyan Municipal Transportation Bureau replied that the Dujiangyan M-TR Tourist Passenger Line Project is a tram connecting Dujiangyan, Qingcheng Mountain, Panda Valley and other important scenic spots and fast rail stations to run through the entire Sunac Cultural Tourism City, with a total length of about 20.3 kilometers and consists of 1 main line and 2 branch lines. At present, the Dujiangyan M-TR tourist passenger dedicated line project has not yet been officially put into operation, and is undergoing joint commissioning and joint testing, and is expected to be put into trial operation in April 2024.

Recently, Dujiangyan M-TR tourist passenger line is also actively preparing for operation, and is currently running sports cars according to the operation map, and Chuanfa Rail has carried out a four-day M-TR special line test ride experience activity. In this test ride experience activity, the test ride invitation was issued to enterprises, institutions and community residents along the M-TR special line in the form of issuing experience coupons, and the operation mode of normal passenger operation was simulated during the test ride.

During the test ride experience, a total of 288 trains were opened, more than 10,000 passengers were transported, the punctuality rate of the train and the cashing rate of the timetable reached 100%, the overall operation was good, the passenger transportation organization was stable and orderly, and the operating parameters were in line with the standards.
