Xiamen's first fully autonomous metro car was unveiled

Rail Transit Exhibition News Recently, the first train of Xiamen Metro Line 6 rolled off the assembly line at CRRC Changxin Co., Ltd. The train is the first fully autonomous metro vehicle in southern Fujian, which will help the interconnection of Xiamen and Zhangzhou cities and promote the coordinated development of Xiamen and Zhangzhou urban agglomerations.

The train of Xiamen Metro Line 6 adopts a B-shaped aluminum alloy drum body, with a four-car formation and a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour. Since April 2022, CRRC Changchun has worked closely with Xiamen Rail Group, and after many design contacts and communications, it has integrated mature and leading technological achievements into its products, creating an intelligent, advanced, safe, comfortable and high-value B-type subway benchmark product.

The vehicle is fully autonomous, and its performance meets the requirements of the highest automation level (GOA4). The vehicle has more than 50 automation functions such as automatic sleep wake-up, automatic delivery, automatic operation, automatic car washing, OCC video linkage, train status management, etc., and is equipped with a vehicle-to-ground wireless dump system for the first time, using AIRFLASH technology, which can realize real-time high-speed transmission and ground storage of on-board surveillance video on the main line. The vehicle adopts LCU logic control that can reach SIL4 level with safety certification level, and has excellent input and output checksum logic calculation to ensure the safety and reliability of operation.

The bogie is equipped with an online detection system for the running part, which adopts a composite sensor with three parameters of shock, vibration and temperature to detect the vibration state of the running part, the vibration state of the wheel and rail, the abnormal wear of the shaft temperature and the wheelset, and realizes the functions of automatic real-time fault diagnosis, precise positioning, early warning and hierarchical alarm of the monitored components. At the same time, it has the function of derailment detection and is equipped with a passive obstacle detection system to escort the safety of the vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with a lightning arrester with the function of recording the number of lightning strikes and the time of the strike, and adopts the integrated design of monitoring device and lightning arrester, and realizes electrical isolation through optical fiber transmission to ensure the safety of passengers.

More comfortable

The vehicle adopts the technology of "electric braking to zero", compared with the conventional electro-pneumatic hybrid braking mode, it can quickly respond to the braking level adjustment of the signal system, and the parking accuracy is higher. The throughway has good sound insulation performance, and the sound insulation is greater than 40dB(A). The air conditioning condensing fan adopts 6-pole fan and advanced harmonic suppression technology to bring a low-noise and high-comfort environment to passengers and residents along the line.
